K HOUSE ART

ACRYLIC, MIXED MEDIA, PASTEL AND PRINTMAKING ON PAPER AND CANVAS

I took a couple years and went back to teaching art in a grade school.  I thought I had a breast cancer possibility. The Dr. told me that I was fine. The pain was caused by wearing the wired bras. I shared that story with some women teachers and one of them came into my art class and put her bra in my pocket. My daughter gave me her bra and I also used a couple of mine. I used the bras to make prints on canvas and paper. Some of the pieces are a combo of Man vs. Nature and printed "flying bras".

As I was creating about "Mamogramomam" ideas, the pieces got wilder and larger. I had an idea to create images for billboards, that is why some are large.
